A WebGem is someone's favorite website and one that captures their attention easily, making them come back for more each coming day. As a teenager, and more precisely one of which loves to relax and have fun, I've come to conclude that my favorite website that I view on a regular day basis would be NotDoppler. Video Games have always been my escape from real life issues and drama, as it creates a fake world that you feel comfortable in. While playing video games, I have the ability to rid my mind of all things that disturb me in any way, shape or form. Additonally, because I enjoy social interactions, my favorite pass time is to play video games with my friends as it includes two of my most favorite values.

Whenever I'm looking for a new video game to play, I go directly to NotDoppler. This website is the epitome of what all gaming websites should aspire to. It provides a safe community to play with, and promotes new video games every Thursday! The background of the webpage is inviting and creates the facade that you must play each game. Every day when I get home I feel the need to check in with my favorite games, and more to come as this website brings them to my attention. As a matter of fact, I've pulled a few design ideas from their website to accompany my own, as I look forward to creating a website that is remotely similair to their lay out. I thank NotDoppler for freeing my mind of any drama that I might have endured during Sophomore year.

Another website that I visit on a daily basis that goes hand in hand with NotDoppler is Twitch.tv. Here I have the ability to watch my favorite videogame player's streams online as they play my favorite game. I often like to watch streams of the game League of Legends as it seems to hold an extremely friendly community. I as a matter of fact have posted one of my streams on Twitch in attempt to gain alot of viewers and subscribers, however like music production, becoming well known is an immensely long and difficult task. Their layout is very appealing to those who play any videogames as it shows the hundreds of games that are currently being streamed. I spend a lot of time on this website.

Another website that I practically lived on during summer is Netflix. After subscribing (which is around 10$ a month), you are allowed to watch any movie or show that they supply on their website. In total, I’ve watched around 10 different movies, and 6 complete cartoons and anime show series at the click of a button. The main reason why I enjoy it so much is because it is so reliable; whenever I want to watch a movie, it will be able to supply me with one no matter what. If I have some friends come over for a movie, I pull up the comedy movies, and pick from 1 of the 1000 movies that they supply you with.

Got a new song stuck in your head? Soundcloud will undoubtedly have that song for you and your friends to listen to. Soundcloud is constantly receiving more and more submissions from users all over the world, so that their music and creations can be displayed for the world to hear. I, myself, have even made a few songs that I've posted on my own account. Whenever I go to the gym, I pull up my soundcloud app on my phone, scroll through my favorite artists, and start listening. The atmosphere of soundcloud is so diverse because it gives everyone's music a chance to be listened to. For example, I might be listening to "boneless" by Steve Aoki, and after the song has finished, it'll play a song from some random user in the world who creates the same music I enjoy listening to.
