Introduction
With the humor project, we were instructed to create a project with only a few guidelines. It has to be original, funny, and engaging with the audience. With all this in mind, I went off to create a film/skit after a while of brainstorming ideas.
Process
I decided on creating a skit inspired by trying not to laugh in a serious situation. I asked some friends to be actors, I wrote a script, and planned out some shots.
A few humorists that I was influenced by throughout this process were Eric Andre and Trevor Wallace. They both make skits, with Eric Andre influencing my awkward, absurd humor in the interview, and Wallace influencing how the characters are portrayed.

Reflection
I loved this project. The filming and editing was some of the most fun I’ve had with any school project I’ve ever worked on, and I’m really glad to have put as much time into this as I did. I wouldn’t change anything about it if I could, except for making the ear ringing a tad bit quieter (I apologize to anyone that had to watch it in person on Mr. Greco’s speakers, my fault).
