Leading Lines
This weeks photo challenge was to take a photo using leading lines in food. I found this really hard to do. I took a picture of some s’mores cupcake I made because the tray the cupcakes are on lead your eyes to the cupcakes.
Rule of Odds
This weeks photo challenge was rule of odds. Rule of odds is just to include an odd number of elements to an image or arrange the elements in an image in groups to create odd numbers. I chose to include an odd number of elements to my image. These elements are dogs I petsit playing in my backyard.
Negative Space
This week’s photo challenge was to create a landscape using negative space. The sky in this image is all negative space. I didn’t want the entire image to be negative space because I thought it would be boring to look at.
Center Frame Portrait
This week’s photo challenge was to use center framed composition in a photo. I took this picture of a cute goat I saw while visiting some stables. When taking the photo I wasn’t thinking about the composition, but when looking back through the pictures I took I realized that this photo follows center frame composition, and it’s a portrait of the goat.
Balance
This weeks photo challenge was balance in Accidental Renaissance. I honestly didn’t know what this meant so I looked up some examples. I attempted to follow the challenge but I don’t know if I succeeded. I had Sarah in my garden surround by my chickens. She is the focal point and the chickens are surrounding her making her stand out from them.
Leading Lines
This weeks Challenge was to use leading lines to show the concept of infinity. I tried to use a tall redwood tree as a leading line that seems to go on forever. However some of the branches did get in the way of that.
Symmetry Landscape
This weeks photo challenge was to take a landscape photo that is symmetrical. I chose to take a photo of my front yard because it is pretty symmetrical. The lights, rocks, and plants are all symmetrical. There are some things, like the bird statue that is not symmetrical but the majority of things are.
Rule of Thirds Motion
This weeks photo challenge is Rule of Thirds in Motion. I took a picture of a dog I pet sit playing with a frisbee. She is on the third and she is running towards the camera. I love this photo because her ear is sticking up and I think that is adorable.
