Future
This week’s photo challenge was to be inspired by the future. In the future, I will be running track at Linfield University and I am super excited. I will get to meet so many new people and make so many new friends.
Frame within the Frame
This week’s photo challenge was only to use natural elements to create a frame. I went on a hike and looked up and saw this scene. The trees perfectly frame the mountain.
Self Portrait
This week’s photo challenge was to take a self-portrait to show how I think other people look at me. I think people see me as a happy funny, and fun person.
Food
This week’s photo challenge was food. I had this pasta for dinner and thought the colors really popped because they are so bright.
Using Props
This week’s photo challenge was to use a prop. I used water as my prop to create a mirror reflection of the trees.
Modern Convenience
This week’s photo challenge is to show a modern convenience you can not live without. I just recently bought my own car and it is definitely a modern convenience I cannot live without. I took this photo at an angle to try and show off the whole car.
Current Event
This week’s photo challenge was about current events. I took this photo of my neighboring street after the really big storm. A tree fell on some power lines knocking them down and causing me to lose power for four days. This was a big event for my quiet little neighborhood.
Creative Staged + Depth of Field
This week’s photo challenge was to set up a photo that is creatively staged. I chose to make it look like Kayla is standing on my hand by having her jump and have my hand closer to the camera. I found this photo challenging to get right and it took a couple tries to get it right.
Deadly Sins
This week’s photo challenge was to tell a story about one of the deadly sins. I choose to do pride. I took a photo of a dog who is very proud to have her bone in her mouth. She wants to show off her amazing bone to everyone because she loves it so much.
Musical
This week’s photo challenge was to use music as our inspiration. I was lucky to go to a Lady Gaga concert and took this photo there of Lady Gaga. I got to go with my family and we had a great time enjoying her performance.
