Our humor project was our final English project. Once again, I worked with Lulu Duarte and Jane Reall. We were heavily inspired by reality TV shows like The Kardashians and Dance moms, and wanted to create some sort of fake version of that. Some humor techniques we used in our final project include caricature and absurd humor.

We began the unit by reading Slaughterhouse-5 by Kurt Vonnegut, which introduced us to many humor techniques, such as blue humor, black humor, callbacks, and more. We had 3 class discussions, in which we covered the themes of war and free will. Below is my process document.

Our product follows Londynne and Kinsleigh Balenciaga, who are cousins. Their Meemaaw has recently passed away and leaves the prized Balenciaga necklace to both of the girls to fight over. Below is our final presentation!
