This was an interesting prompt because we were supposed to show the contrast between something small and something large. We had the opportunity to use Photoshop to do this, which I thought would be fun to explore. I chose a photo of the view from the Oakland Temple and a cute house I saw while visiting Connecticut, which was just a triangle roof on a hill. I contrasted the tiny San Francisco skyline with the giant house among the hills. I edited them together using Photoshop techniques we learned in Digital Media, such as using masks and overlays to make it seem like they are from the same photo, even if it’s obviously surreal because of the scale.
