When I was walking around the yard I saw a shadow that had very defined lines on the wall behind it. I wanted to show a bit of the plant but I wanted the shadow to define the plant’s shape and movement because it reminded me of how my grandma looks at oak trees and how unpredictable their branches are, so I wanted to try and show the structure of the plant through its shadow.
My mom wanted to show me how the laundry basket makes different patterns on the wall with the holes, so I made her move the basket side and turn it around so you got the different shapes throughout the shadow.
