For this photo blog, we were challenged to take of photo of something that represented New Beginnings. The day before taking this photo I was talking with my dad about what I could take represents New Beginnings and I thought of taking a photo of a sunrise because it symbolizes a new day starting. So the next day I woke up earlier than I usually do so that me and my dad could drive to the Rancho San Antonio Preserve and try to get a photo of the sun rising. Once we got there I put the 24mm lens on my camera and I took some photos trying to got the sun in it while also changing my aperture so that the photo isn’t too exposed to the light. In Adobe Photoshop I made a copy of it and put the Screen Blend mode on top of the photo to make the bottom part of the photo a bit brighter. then using the brush tool and adding a mask layer I eraised the top part of the Screen Blend back to how it was before.
