“Use leading lines to show the concept of infinity.”

This is actually my second time using a picture of a trail for one of my photo blogs, and I love how this image in particular perfectly fits the prompt. While my dog is certainly a cute addition to the photo, it’s impossible to ignore the trail and how it bends over the hill up ahead, winding away to some unknown place.

It leaves you wondering, “where does the trail lead to?” there’s no indication of the surrounding environment, or where in particular this trail might be. If I never told you that this was just a local trail in Cupertino atop the hills behind my house, and that this portion captured in the photo is relatively close to the end of the trail, you’d have no idea how long it goes on for or where it is. That, I feel, is infinity. A line that has no clear end or beginning, only a direction.
