Pro Tools
During our Pro Tools project, we made an experimental song and experimented with many different plug in instruments within it. Below is a screenshot of the interface I worked on when learning Pro Tools and also some of the instruments I worked with. As you can see, I worked with the Boom Drums, Mini Grand Piano, the Vacuum instrument, as well as the X-pand plug in. With the drums, I created many beats, which took many tried to get the right sound out of it. I used the Mini Grand plug in to create a four chord song, which is used in many songs we listen to today. I used the vacuum to add a new sound to the song, as well as the X-pand plug in. The X-pand plug in was my favorite, being able to add really interesting backgrounds to the song, and also adjusting them on my own.
Edm compilation, class reason song
Below is the EDM compilation we created as a digital media class. Everyone was designated to making 60 seconds of their own EDM song, which eventually, was combined by Mr. Flo. We created these EDM songs in the application Reason.
8 bar EDM reason song
For the 8 bar EDM song, we used the application Reason to make music using drums and other electronic plugs in instruments.
‘Be the Light’ reason song
‘Be the Light’ is a song we used to learn more about the application, Reason. We used many instruments including drums, piano, and guitar to recreate the background instrumentals of the song along with the lyrics.
