Syd’s personal Museum

This project was related to our reflections unit and the question of “Who am I?”. We took a class field trip to the SF MOMA, where we were assigned to spend time looking at the art pieces and choosing specific ones that appealed or resonated with us. The images below are some of the pieces I chose while at MOMA, and I felt a connection with each and every one for different reasons.

The first piece is meant to represent my lack of sleep and how sleepy I always feel during the day. The second piece is meant to represent my many emotions throughout the day and how quickly they can change, just like the piece of art using flickering lights. The third piece shows my love for art and children, because it reminds me of a piece of abstract art a little kid would make. I work a lot with kids and I love spending time with them.
