Blog Post #15: Anonymous

A fruit in a tree, backlit to hide its bright colors.

For this week’s blog post we were instructed to take an image that represented anonymity, however we may interpret it. To me, being anonymous means that you don’t show your true colors and who you truly are. So, for my image I took a backlit image of this brightly colored fruit growing from the tree, making it appear dark and colorless. In the end, I edited it to make the fruit have even less color as the orange was still showing through. I did this by masking the fruit out and putting a multiply overlay on top of it while leaving the rest of the image in its bright state.
