Blog Post #27: Exit

For this image, to continue the story of the freedom image, getting my license meant the end of an era for me. I would skateboard from school to my house every day rather than driving. I would carry it with me throughout the day and it became a really identifiable part of me. People noticed me specifically out of the crowds in school because of it. It was something that people knew about me, so not carrying it around every day came as a shocker even to some of my teachers. I thought that this was an exiting of an era, I will still skateboard on my own time, but it is now less of a transportation device for me.
