Blog Post #32:Fill the Frame

swirls of color and light

ISO 100, Aperature 22, Shutter Speed 3/5

For this image, I chose to take a photo of a deflated balloon that I have in my room. I felt that it was a subject that could fill the composition with a lot of detail while being the only object in view. It has many creases, it splotched with color, and is shiny in some parts. I decided to play around with the exposure time and made it slow so that the colors and shine from the lights became streaks of color. I think in the future I would go about this a bit differently to play around with using a person or animal as a subject as it is more difficult that using an inanimate object.
