This is a picture of my Mom playing the piano. In my family, everyone plays an instrument (except my dad). Becca and Sarah play the violin, Brooke plays the harp, Sam plays the cello, and I play the guitar. My Mom had all of us start taking lessons at a young age. None of us are professional level musicians, but we all learned to appreciate music. Music has always been an important part of my Mom’s life. She played piano growing up and would go home and practice for hours everyday after school. She played piano at church, school, and recitals. My Mom wrote her own music and arrangements, and even recorded her own album. My Mom inspires me to improve my musical skills. She has a deep love of music and a strong work ethic. She inspires me to improve and to love music as much as she does.
