About Me

Hello, my name is Allison.

I am a visual artist who currently specializes in drawing and sculpture. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember but only really started to get into drawing sometime after 6th grade. Sculptures, on the other hand, I only started doing in sophomore year of high school. I got into sculpture after taking an art class outside of school. Since then I have been taking some of my drawings and ideas and bringing them into the third dimension. I also enjoy learning new forms of art.

I have been really enjoying Freestyle, have made friends, learned how to create new projects and a lot more. I have been taking animation as my elective. While it can be stressful at times when I have multiple projects due in close succession I always enjoy trying my best to make everything the best I can. While animation takes a large amount of time, I love getting to put all the frames together and watch it go from a bunch of individual drawings to one smooth continuous video.

One of my pass-times is taking care of horses. I have been doing this since I was 8 years old. When I am out at the barn I usually take care of a retired pony named Cow-Girl or “CG”. CG is a 13 hand (52 inch) tall rescue Welsh(?) pony. What I like about CG is that she has a lot of personality and isn’t afraid to show it. At the barn we used to call her the “granny biker lady” due to her bold personality. Some days she can be the sweetest, most loving horse; like a grandma who would bake you a batch of cookies because she had some extra time on their hands. While other days she behaves like a lightning bold of edgy aggression and speedy energy. Since her retirement she has mellowed out quite a bit but still has “the motorcycle sitting in the garage, in perfect working order, ready to be used at a moments notice”

Thank you for spending the time to read that! I hope you enjoy my website and artwork.
