This week’s challenge was to take a photo that embodies our culture. It was pretty difficult to think of what to shoot since culture can be such a broad term, but luckily, while I was relaxing outside, I saw the fairy garden that I had set up in the flower bed in our backyard; it was perfect for this prompt.
This represents my culture because ever since I was little our family friend in Nebraska was obsessed with fairy gardens and had quite a large one herself, so, naturally, that obsession was passed down to me! Then when I got a little older my parents help me set up my own and the pieces have survived through a move across the country and a move across the Silicon Valley.
