I took this photo at Sri Krishna Balaram Goshala, which is a cow sanctuary in Milpitas. For my documentary project, I have been focusing on the cows and volunteers of the project, so I have spent quite a bit of time photographing the cows and the space. I wanted to capture the side profile of one of the cows to capture their big and beautiful eyes and give the illusion of their horns stretching out into the camera.
