creative staged + depth of field

I used a depth of field technique to put a focus on the cranberry relish and staged the flowers so that it seemed like they were coming out of the jar. A lot of the examples given for this assignment were very epic and masculine, so I wanted to put a more feminine and low-key twist on it because throwing soccer balls lit on fire isn’t exactly my style. I thought the clay dinosaur from my eighth-grade art class went with the scene, so I added it for balance. Overall, I think it was a fun mental exercise to come up with a creative way to use staging and depth of field.
