Personal Projects

Visual Productions

Making this poster was especially fun for me because we were allowed to create fictional events. This piece entertains the thought of a reunion for the 2020 winter percussion season, which was tragically cut short last year. I indulged in scrolling through a few old photo albums before finding the perfect picture, and I’m really proud of the slogan. Overall, this was a simple and enjoyable project, and I’m hopeful that this summer will be filled with percussive adventures.

Audio Productions

I had two audio productions: a four-chord song and experimental music, both made on Pro Tools.

My four-chord song was my introduction to ProTools as a means of creating music. I used the simple structure, I-V-vi-IV to create it.

The experimental music is meant to emulate a couple that was arguing outside, made entirely with boom beats. I’m most proud of the album cover I created in Illustrator.

Video Productions

I used Adobe After Effects to produce a video about my documentary. This was the most challenging tool I’ve ever learned, but I’m glad I was introduced to it because it ultimately taught me preseverance.
