This self-portrait is one of my personal favorites. Using the backdrops in an old-school theatre, I had a setup done and put my camera on a tri pod.

This photo, overlayed with a poem of mine, is painted in black and white to fit the film noir assignment. Film noir is typically dark and moody, so I wanted to put a twist on the assignment by making it about vibrancy.
Blog Post #40 – New Year Light
For this assignment, I teamed up with Mahaut to create slow shutter speed photos in a dark room. Utilizing glow sticks, we were able to light the area surrounding the subject. Mahaut moved her face on command, leaving two expressions on the screen; relaxation and anger.

My favorite tree in the world is located right in font of my house. As the seasons change, so does this tree. It hurts me to see the leaves fall but at least I get to experience the frosted magenta tips first.
