Gratitude

Bowls of fruit.

Every night I eat a piece of fruit after dinner. It’s an automatic reflex. As soon as my meal is finished, I wander over to the island or the fridge and grab a piece of fruit. However, I realize that not everyone has the privilege of eating organic, seasonal fruits every day. What I have taken for granted might be what someone else longs for. It’s important to take step back and appreciate what you have.
