Narrative Visual Perspective in Animation

During the Narrative unit in Animation, we completed multiple projects—modeling and adding texture to 3D objects, animating 3D characters using keyframes and motion capture rigs, and writing a narrative dialogue script. We used Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, and Substance Painter to create these 3D projects.

Reflection

The productions created in this unit were valuable to me as an Animation student because they were primarily composed of 3D objects and animations. This was the first time I had created a 3D digital model and it was a great learning experience for me. Being able to participate in each step of the process in creating a 3D animation taught me many skills and allowed me to grow as an artist. I experimented with various concepts and I was able to create work that I was proud of.
