What is the Zenith Project? This final project at Freestyle was created to challenge seniors to produce their most successful project using all the skills they’ve learned the past two years. The lack of restrictions or guidelines allows students to let their creativity and imagination run free.
For my Zenith project, I was inspired by my love for animated movies, specifically, the movie “Inside Out.” While I was refreshing my memory of the film, I was shocked to learn I had watched it seven years ago when it first came out. It felt like I had just watched it and I was able to reflect on how much has changed since then. I was particularly inspired by the idea of having characters represent each of my most common emotions or stages.
This project was challenging for me because it required drawing people, one of weaknesses. Additionally, each character had to be unique and convey their respective personalities. However, with my fluency of Photoshop and experience with drawing, I was able to complete my Zenith and make something I’m happy with.
