Who Inspires You?

I chose this man, Scott, a close family friend whom I got to know very well and found his story very inspiring. He has been working in the same industry for years and found his passion early and think that is a fantastic journey and now works at Stanford overseeing projects to maintain and restore

Fill the Frame

This photo takes up the entire frame with the use of a Christmas tree. I shot this at night to get the glow of the lights.

Culture

Art is a part of my culture. As half asian and half white, I take on lots of different views of art from different sides of the family through relatives or close family friends. I now have stepped into that culture and this photo is an expression of my shaking hand of uncertainty, but relaxed

Angles

For this blog I wanted to capture a unique view where I peered through the sandstone walls of the Stanford Quad and saw the scaffolding. This created an interesting angle to shoot as we can see the work being done on the already existing structure.

Rule of Odds

For this photo blog we had to take a photo of multiple of objects in the odds amount.I found that I could do this by focusing on one object but still having two more in the background just as it is in this photo with the lemons in my backyard.

Aging

For this photo blog, I found that this part of a scaffolding structure had some plant growth that seemed to have been there for a while. I thought that this would be a perfect representation of aging for the wood and the plants show long lasting and time spent of the scaffolding.
