Modern Convenience

While this is not my car, I do own my own and it is of great convenience to me and this vintage car was a great way to portray it in an advertisement style because of the logo on the side of the wheel and the pristine condition it is kept in.

Food

This is inspired by food and I used this light that resembles a Xiao Long Bao because it is my favorite food.

Musical

I have a deep connection to music and I collect vinyls to play on a record player. So this is a shot of a record at a record store for my musical inspiration.

Viewpoint

I saw the opportunity to shoot a reflective sphere and use that as a unique viewpoint and I could see my surroundings in a fish bowl sort of lens.

Low Angle

This was taken outside the Hoover Tower at Stanford. The tallest point on campus and one of the oldest. It was so tall that I could only capture the very peak of the tower so I thought it was best to present this as my “Low Angle” photo blog.

This is the gravel that I travel over often. But when I stopped to take a photo, I noticed the texture of each individual rock that made up the whole of the gravel walkway. Color Without Color

This photo captures the holiday of downtown MV without the need of the colors from the lights. Giving a strong sense of the feeling, without directly telling what it is.

Rule of Thirds with Emotion

I tried to represent a stoic and calming emotion when capturing this photo, but I feel like this is more somber bordering on gothic. I liked how this turned out and it captured a really moody atmosphere.
