This is the Hoover Tower, the highest point in all of Stanford and is a one of the oldest parts too. I took this photo for my Documentary Project but it didn’t make the cut but as a center frame portrait, I thought it was perfect.

With this photo, I was completing the prompt of “Balance of Holiday Traditions” which I personally took as Christmas which I celebrate with my family. I specifically viewed the ornaments because that is my favorite part of the holiday which is decorating the tree with family.

This prompt was for leading lines and I wanted to utilize a skill I learned earlier in class which was long light exposure times to the subject which would have the camera take in as much light as possible in a certain amount of time. This resulted in the tail light trails from the cars

I took this photo for the symmetry landscape at Stanford because I loved the architecture and really enjoyed photographing the campus. I centered my camera between the arches then I put the photo into Adobe Lightroom and edited it by cropping and color grading it.

This blog is supposed to capture a motion. I took this photo of my wrestling teammate in the middle of a match, and I think this image really shows the intensity of wrestling. Wrestling is definitely the toughest sport in the world and the athletes go relatively anonymous, so I wanted to display wrestling more.
