The goal for this week was to shoot something that represents weight or mass. I was looking around my house of things that I could capture for this photo, and I saw these flowers. To me, flowers represent light-ness, and something fragile and beautiful. Almost something that is “light as a feather”. This juxtaposes with the marble table that they are on top of, which is dense and heavy (since it is made of marble). Although the focus of the photo is the light and gentle flowers petals, I wanted to have a sense of different masses/weights in one photo.
