Self-Portrait

This image represents me for many reasons. I took this photo trying to portray the importance of simplicity, as that is something important to me. I chose a neutral color, white as the focus of this image. Something that really caught my eye was how I was able to capture the sun through the trees, and you can obviously tell where that is as it is very bright. This sun in the back represents me as I always try and see the best, or the “light” of any situation. As well, I chose to blur the background of my photo, only having the main flower focused in the front, as I thought it drew more attention to the flower, again, showing the simplicity and the beauty in that one object.
