Geometry

Geometry and shapes are found everywhere we look in this world. From the rectangle of our computers to the circle of our kitchen tables. This weeks photo challenge was to incorporate geometry into our photos. I chose to take this picture of the bottom of one of our outside seating chairs to show geometry. As you can see we have a repeating triangle-ish shape and it is repeating in a circle so two elements of geometry there. I thought this was interesting and a little less basic then just having a standard shape. As well I thought it was interesting to see and notice how an artist or designer can use more than one repeating shape to create something beautiful and useful like this!
