You Said Something They Didn’t Like

Conveying color while being restricted to black and white is tricky. For this photo, I needed to find a location known for being colorful and vibrant. After some deliberation, I decided that Chili’s would be a perfect location for something like this, given its reputation for warm red and oranges within their establishments, as well as their garishly vibrant (and incomprehensibly exhaustive) fold-out menus.

Pictured in the photo beside me is my good friend, Xander. We chose to strike a pose together to humor the black-and-white aspect of the photo, as it reminded us of old crime movies where a character would be interrogated under harsh light. It was fun- and delicious- to shoot this photo with friends.
