New Beginnings

A short, yellow flower grows from the ground, with grass around it.

This photo blog is about a new beginning, as we have approached the new year of 2025. For this photo blog, I found a small flower that was planted to the ground, signifying that it is beginning its journey to grow taller and taller to reach new heights.

I edited this photo in Adobe Photoshop by adding a multiply blend mode because the surroundings of the flower was a little bit too bright, and I wanted the yellow flower to stand out. I also considered the rule of thirds composition, by having the flower to be positioned approximately at one of the intersection points of the rule of thirds grid.
