The definition of Serenity according to the dictionary is the state of being calm, peaceful and untroubled. My interpretation of Serenity in this photo is having the tools to feel secure and be able to use them to help yourself. Originally, I wanted to take a photo of the building of the 700s wing in Mountain View High School, because they have a lot of flags hanging around. But today, they put the flags away, probably because they had to clean them or something, which meant I had to find another idea. When walking around, I saw a fire hydrant standing next to the classroom and decided to take a picture of it. This represents peace because a fire hydrant has the capability to put out a fire just in case of an emergency.
