Rule of Thirds-Motion

For this assignment, we were given the task to demonstrate the rule of thirds when it came to motion. Basically, to be able to show the movement of an object simply through a photo. An example we were given in class was a child running through grass. The child was facing to the left. when the camera positioned the child on the right side, it appeared as if the child was running to something, VS when the child was positioned in the left facing the left, it appeared as though the child was running from something.

I chose this photo because of the several different actions occurring within it. On the left middle side, there is the black cat who is already midjump toward the moving toy. The toy itself, is more so centered in the middle or top area, however due to its blur and the laws of gravity we know that the toy is coming down to the middle and left. Meanwhile, the second patterned cat is getting ready to pounce in the middle and right areas.

This was a photo I took at an adoption center, where I got the opportunity to help care for the cats. one of many ways that I cared for the some of cats was through playing with them. I got the chance and pleasure to play with these two cats in particular, whom were incredibly lovely and active
