Speed Light Shots

All photos done with ISO 100 Shutter Speed 50

For tis assigment we were given the task to take 4 diffent photos of the same thing, hoever adjusting and changing the way we took the photo using our speed lights.I love uing my flash in different ways each time as they were exteremly unqie and pretty, wether itbe people or objects. I also enjoyed seeing how poorly some images could come out.

For an exampleof the former, the image on the eft was a photo which used the flash via bouncing off the dark blue wall. This cretaed more depth in the phto which I persoanlly relaly enjoyed.

In the photo seen to the right, we can see a less retty demnstration of the flash. Essentially the flahs is being directed straight at the object, which while illluminating it well, turns the image much more flat.

Seen here on the left is an image which uses a built in white bounce card. Essentially it is aiming twoard the ceiling with it, using the card as away to bounce back into the object. However, ue to the ceiling also ebing white, I did not particualrlly see the affect of the white bounce card on this object.

Finally, for this last photo on the right I used the white flash diffuser cap, which essentially did something similar to the white bounce card. Mildly deluding the affect of the flash. overall with al these photos, bouncing off light on the walls seems to be extremely effective in all instances I us, mainly due to how easy it is to apply to photos. i would highly recommend that position.
