For this week’s photo challenge, we were supposed to tell a story using sports. I decided that I would try and get a photo from a practice soccer game. I have always considered myself a fan of the sport ever since I was youg, and it has always ben a very culturally relevant one for me.
In this photo you can see a form of tragedy- to put it pretentiously- these were from practice rounds with another goalie, the two would switch back and forth and see who could catch the ball.

I took many photos however I selected this one because for one there is a sense of irony layered in here, seing someone witness as they are unsuccessful, as well as the dynamic nature of the photo. you know what is happening even without any full on movement.
