For this week’s assignment, we were told to find balance in a holiday tradition. I opted for Christmas as this was something prevalent in my culture( Fun fact, Mexicans celebrate Christmas on the 24th, as to keep the 25th as a relax day!) as well as something which I could more easily find balance.
I went for a very literal meaning for balance, that being symmetry of some kind.
i worked at the tree lot along with many other’s so I also decided to take a photo there. I worked for both our newspaper and theatre programs!
I ended up with this phot which I enjoyed because wile I originally didn’t believe it fit the criteria I set out for, it did end up having a more equal composition than I realized originally. Overall i liked this assignment as I found it fun to revisit the tree lot
