World building
This project was so much fun, and probably the most creative and wacky we got in this class. We based it off of real potential threats which really leaned into our genre of post-apocalyptic realistic fiction. We found it really got to people when we knew the setting and paid attention to the outside world.
Below, you can really see what went into our ENTIRE process. It was really interesting to work with a group with a lot of different ideas, but patience to also mix and meld all of the things we could possibly fit from all of us individually.
Surreal Composition
I made my surreal composition on a mother holding a child made of cells and roses. I was really struck by the amount of artwork coming out of the anti-abortion laws and wanted to make something of my own. It was a touching process and one of the smaller projects that meant the most to me.
Enhanced World-Building Presentation Video
I really liked working on this project. My group was Kayla R, Roberto A, and Julia K. We made a pretty good team and got to bounce a lot of ideas around. We based a lot of our ideas around the current events of the world.
