Narrative visual perspective in film

synopsis

reflections

All in all, this unit was super rewarding. It challenged me in new ways and put me and my partner through a whole new process. We learned a lot about the producing and figuring out the small obscure details on our own, not to mention all the technology we navigated for the first time.

The initial idea of this film took so many turns. It began as a psych thriller, and then a whiplash-esque film and somewhere along the way it just became a feel good film about an artist. It was something I definitely got much more out of the process than anything, and it gave me a lot of confidence moving forward with my next film projects.

breakdown

I enjoyed learning how to breakdown a script in preparation for a shoot. All the shot types and details like props and actors were so much more organized and accessible to the production and post production process. This is also the first time we get to visualize our final product in its entirety.
