My name is Justin Sweet, and I was in the class of 2023 at Los Altos High School and Freestyle Academy. At Freestyle, I took Design, alongside the required English and Digital Media classes. I absolutely loved my time at Freestyle. I really liked how the learning was project-oriented and hands-on. The amount of professional technology that we had access to on campus was a huge bonus, in addition to the camera that we got to keep for the entirety of our time at Freestyle.
Outside of school, I enjoy relaxing, hanging out with friends, and playing with my dog Mochi. I also really enjoy biking, something I picked up over the pandemic.
Looking back on the past two years, I can’t help but smile. Thinking about the person I was back then compared to who I am now really helped me realize how influential Freestyle was. Not only did I grow immensely in my artistic abilities, but I also grew socially and mentally. While I’m definitely sad to be leaving Freestyle and all of the amazing people here, I’m really looking forward to the next chapter of my life.
