A palace was once bustling. But in a matter of a day, it became abandoned. What drove them away?
Like most seniors, a good part of my year has been consumed by college apps and thinking about the future. But now that I’m through with the applying part, I started to streamline the endless heaps of mail I was sent. Luckily, it’s not nearly as much work as applying was.
When the sun mixes with stained glass, the results can be amazing. The vibrant and bold colors work together to create an unreal and stunning scene, almost as if it were taken straight from a movie.
Using an orange light, I took this long-exposure photograph in my backyard. I chose orange because it resembles sparklers, commonly used at New Year’s celebrations. Between each number, I switched the light off in order to isolate each number, allowing for a cleaner photo.
A barren tree, tormented by wind and the rapidly changing weather. But come spring, it will show its true colors once again.
Three is universally a magic number. This holds true when photographing, as employing the rule of odds can make for some very interesting compositions.
With December recently beginning, it’s really starting to feel like winter. The weather is getting colder, and it’s only proper to put up the Christmas decorations.
With the recent transition to much colder weather, I’ve come to realize the benefit that such a small item can have. I’m very grateful for my beanie and the warmth and comfort it provides on those crisp mornings.
Through the highs and lows, my stuffed bear used to be my best friend when I was younger. But as I grew up, we drifted apart. Now, he sits alone.
