This semester in English, we focused on creating our own worlds and stories from the ground up during the world-building unit. In this unit, we worked in groups to create a compelling world, story, and characters to present to the rest of the pm seniors. For this project, we could take inspiration from the previous research topic we did or create a story based on something else that compelled us. In my group, we decided to try to create a story implementing each of our research topics. My group used technology and the use of AI as a base for our project and built a story and characters around that general topic.
Overall I think my group was productive and successful when creating our world and characters and we were able to easily share ideas with one another. Although we had creative differences at times, we were still able to work through them and develop our world and story. I definitely think this was one of the most fun english projects we get to do at freestyle because of how creative it is and it made me really excited to continue working on it throughout the unit.
