Gratitude is clearly a topical subject right now, considering Thanksgiving is coming up, so I took a photo of the things I could find in my house I associate with it (the candle and pumpkins especially).
Taking the photo was pretty awkward–I had to stand on a stool, and while struggling to get an overhead shot of the scene also had to maintain a steady grip on the camera, so the photo wouldn’t turn out blurry. In the end, I decided to just turn the ISO and shutter speed up and fix the lighting and graininess while editing.
