A lot of my previous photography focused on flowers, so I picked one from my backyard and put it in a vase. I walked around the house and took a few test photos to see where the lighting was most dramatic with a neutral background, and chose my closet near my window. During editing, I increased the contrast and converted it to black and white to further emphasize the shadows.
