LONG SHUTTER SPEED EXPOSURE

13” f22 ISO800

For this weeks photo blog prompt, we were assigned with taking a long shutter speed exposure photo. When I first saw this, I thought of utilizing lights in my photo. When shooting a photo with long shutter speed in the dark, bright light will appear very clearly. If you move the light while the camera is shooting, it will create a cool light effect. Because there were no fire works when I took this, I decided to use my phone flashlight. I made the subject (my brother) stand in the center and hold that pose till the camera finished shooting. During that time, I moved around with the light and looked really weird while doing it. However, it was worth it because it had a cool effect on the photo. The light I moved around creates beams of light around the subject. I am proud of how this turned out. Happy new year!
