What makes me feel instantly warm is the smell of vanilla that seeps out of the oven as my mom bakes cookies. When my mom whips out some flour, eggs, and butter, my mood brightens. Just like everyone else, my mom usually makes some good old chocolate chip cookies most of the time. Occasionally she will add different things to the cookie for some variety. One time, she decided to add some white chocolate chips and dried strawberries to her batter and try a new combination. I am not joking when I say that those cookies were one of the best I’ve had in my whole life.
