This week, our main focus was to play around with the white balance mode on our camera and look at how it can change your photo. I remembered from before that one of the white balance modes, Shade, makes your photos look more orange tinted. I chose a candle as the subject for my photo because I wanted to see if I could make the flames on the wick look more orange. The photo on the left is the photo on the auto white balance mode, and the one on the right is with the Shade white balance mode. Although it is a subtle different, you can see that the candle on the right appears to have a more warm color than the one on the left. With the added orange tone, the flame on the candle appears even hotter. Small changes like these can change the overall vibe of your photo.
