I took this photograph of my house and my neighbor’s house; each house being the same outline but symmetrical over the gates in the middle. At first, I hadn’t realized that our houses were symmetrical to each other, but I then realized that our driveways were actually symmetrical. I decided to photograph this moment as it also has a special connection to me, because it’s my own home.
