Leading Lines

50mm, ISO 1600, f9, 1/128

To fulfill the prompt of capturing the “concept of infinity” using leading lines, I sought out a subject with lines that lead into each other. In my mind, this allows the viewer to infinitely circle their gaze around the image, never finding an endpoint in the matrix of lines. The barren trees in my local downtown area were perfect for this. Their many branches spiral out into the sky, and when photographed from underneath, seem to go on forever.
