Mood

When prompted to depict the mood I was feeling today, the first thing that came to mind was how overwhelmed with work I was and how much I wanted to take an break and enjoy myself instead. I struggled to figure out how to depict exactly how I was feeling, but knew that I needed to invoke a feeling of tiredness and isolation. To accomplish this, I decided to juxtapose the childlike, innocent image of a teddy bear with that of a tired student. I tucked the bear into my bed, turned off the lights, and positioned him to look like he was working on his computer late at night, just like I was.
